Had a good laugh

Hello everyone. I wonder if anyone is reading this? I read last year's blog post and it was exactly what I was going to write today! Does that mean the parties are getting boring or just I am. (:

EVENT: Cousin's Christmas Party
DATE: Monday, December 26
TIME: 11:00-3:00
PLACE: Beth and Denny's

For food, I will be bringing the usual: artichoke dip and crackers, Uncle Dan Dooley spaghetti. and punch bowl cake.

Carol and I will be going to the orchard on December 17 so I will bring the plates (large and small), cups, napkins, forks, and spoons. That way Beth will have them for set up and if you get to the party before me you will have something to eat on. Beth, could you please pre-heat the oven?

Bring your serving bowls and spoons and if people will need bowls to eat your lovely food contribution please bring some. Also, we always have leftovers so if you want to bring some home bring your tupperware.

I don't know what time Brittany and Jonathan will be getting to the party so I am happy to get mom and bring her over.

Please contribute in the blog comments or email me and I will post for you.

Merry Christmas everyone! I am looking forward to seeing you all. (:
And if you have a talent please bring it with you!
Hugs 🎄🎅
PS: Take a few minutes and look at the old photos on the blog

Party is fast approaching!

The party is less than two weeks away. What are you bringing for food? Do you think you want to share a talent?

I don't think I have a talent for this year. But I will be bringing: artichoke dip with crackers, Uncle Dan Dooley spaghetti, and punch bowl cake. I also have dinner plates, small plates, napkins, spoons, and small cups.  What are you bringing?

Merry Christmas everyone! I love you all and look forward to seeing you on the 26th. HUGS!

Remember when...

Back in the olden days we would run the party with a schedule. Morgan thought it might be a good idea to have one again, to be sure there was enough time for everything. Now I haven't seen it yet, but she is working on one.

Oh these young folks!

Party update

Hi Everyone! Well the party is happening this Saturday -- how did that happen so quickly? I have pulled all the info from different entries and put them all together in this post.

Date: Saturday December 27
Time: 11:00 -- 3:00 (unless someone has a different idea)
Where: Beth and Denny's home

Yay Yay Yay Yay

Talent Show: Yes! Hope you have something planned. Taylor and I do, and so does Morgan and her family. I heard a rumor that Mom (yes Grandma) is planning something too.

HO HO  HO HO

Food
Paul is going to make his famous eggplant Parmesan
Morgan is making (vegetarian) stuffed mushrooms  she is also going to bring some individual veggie dip cups and some form of alcohol, probably wine
The Smith's will bring a cheesy chicken and potato soup and a tomato mozzarella tart appetizer
The Schluntzes are going Cajun and making jambalaya and will bring some cookies
Gail and Taylor are bringing olives, artichoke dip with crackers, Uncle Dan Dooley spaghetti, punch bowl cake, napkins, plates, cups, utensils. Taylor is also bringing wine.
Beth says: I will have dessert and I'm sure Jake will bring some pies. Mom has shrimp.

What else do we need?

Grandpa & David's Burial Service

Hi All,

I hope it's okay I am posting these pictures on here. There are many that I wanted to share that wouldn't all fit in one email. Also, I can't figure out how to edit photos in the post, sorry for the inverted ones!

Love you all and looking forward to our Christmas party. Just a heads up that ALL my kids will be there, so you will get a chance to meet Nick and Grace. Also, Paul's parents will be attending again!

Love Moo

Cousin's Christmas Party 2014

It's that time of year and a date has been picked for the Cousin's Christmas Party! I guess it's fair to say we all need it. The last month has been a rough one and we all need the comfort of our family.

The date is Saturday December 27.

Beth and Denny have offered their home again for us party goers. Thank you so much! Start thinking of what you are bringing to eat. More to come.

Photo Time!

What a great party, but as always, it went WAY too quickly! Our family had a great time and Paul was wondering why we don't hold events like this more often. I said, "Honey, anytime you want to organize one, be my guest!" It was great seeing everyone, but especially Emma and Miles because it's been SO long! Looking forward to seeing everyone at the wedding in (yikes!) 7 weeks!!

Let  me know if you want to print any of these pics and I can send you the original files :-)
