Photo Time!

What a great party, but as always, it went WAY too quickly! Our family had a great time and Paul was wondering why we don't hold events like this more often. I said, "Honey, anytime you want to organize one, be my guest!" It was great seeing everyone, but especially Emma and Miles because it's been SO long! Looking forward to seeing everyone at the wedding in (yikes!) 7 weeks!!

Thanks everyone for a great party. The food was wonderful and the company the best. Thank you Beth and Denny for hosting again this year. Love you all! Be on the lookout for pictures (:

I will also bring a quiche, small plates, and large napkins. 

Hope you are all getting ready for a wonderful and relaxing Christmas. I'm looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday. 

Party food looks like this:

Gail: Uncle Dan Dooley spaghetti, punch bowl cake, and olives. Also dinner plates, something to serve the punch bowl cake in, and cups for drinks, more forks and spoons.
Beth: brie and bread and lots of cookies
Morgan: cake balls
Paul: eggplant parmesan
Taylor: cheese and crackers
The Schluntzes are bringing cookies, chicken soup and the following: 50 bowls, 24 spoons, 24 forks, 40 small napkins. Just giving numbers because we should make sure there will be dishes/utensils for our food contribution.
The Smith's will bring mini cannolis and spinach, artichoke dip with chips. 

Please look the lists over and make what ever adjustments you think we might need. As people comment or email me their changes I will update the list. It looks like we could have as many as 28 people.

Recreate Apple Gang Photo?

 Some of us on Facebook have been joking about recreating one of our old family photos. Our favorite one so far is:

I believe the girls are all on board and no one has talked to Jake yet... I think the perfect time to attempt this could be at the Christmas party, although we may have to locate a picket fence? If we are all in agreement let's see if we can find clothing that sort of resembles (or is the same color) what we are wearing in this picture.

Christmas is fast approaching!

Well everyone I have talked to is getting excited about Christmas. Our homes are full of shiny things, trees, and bobbles. The kids are coming home, packages are being sent, wrapping paper and Christmas cards are waiting to be used, and cookie smells are filling the house. Now the only thing that is missing is snow. (:
